Washing suggestions

WASHING SUGGESTIONS:

WASH BEFORE USE                                                                                                NO BLEACH
NO FABRIC SOFTENER

Rinse cold
Wash warm                                                                                                                Dry medium heat

This is what I do and always have great results:
Rinse in cold water until water runs clear asap. Preferably before they dry.
I like to do this in the shower since the water is already on.
If I feel like the pad might stain, I like to use an eco-friendly stain remover powder on them. After rinsing sprinkle a little on, rub gently, then soak in water, with a small amount of vinegar (approx.1/8 cup vinegar to 3 gallons water) for an hour or 2. This will also kill any lingering odor. Once every couple months is fine.

Vinegar can breakdown the leakproof layer if mix is too strong, or if left too long. so be careful with amount.

I like to wash on warm with my regular load of laundry.

Drying Directions:
Dry on Medium. If line drying its best to finish off in dryer.                                               Drying on high can destroy leakproof layer.

I have prewashed and dried the top flannel, and absorbent core fabric with an eco, non-scented detergent.
I dried on medium to shrink.

With proper care, these pads will last you years!!!
